Dr. Gottlieb offers assessments of Kindergarten readiness with a particular focus on an assessment of a child’s learning style. This assessment looks at potential across the domains of learning (visual, spatial and reasoning skills,) as well as executive functioning skills and social-emotional development. Readiness skills in the areas of reading, writing and math are also measured.
The evaluation includes a parent consultation, child testing, followed by a parent discussion of findings with a focus on optimal school setting and the generation of a list of schools suited for the child. This may include public, charter, magnet or independent schools.
Families are also welcome to schedule a parent consultation to discuss these topics, more generally, without a direct child assessment.
